SRP Fund Reconciliation in Bogor: Enhancing Accountability and Transparency

PALMOILMAGAZINE, BOGOR – Representatives from the Agriculture Agency of Labuhanbatu Utara (Labura) Smallholders Replanting Program (SRP) Team participated in the second-quarter SRP fund reconciliation meeting.

The event was hosted by the General Directorate of Plantation, Ministry of Agriculture, at the Bigland Hotel in Bogor, West Java Province, from 8 to 10 July 2024.

According to an official statement from the Regency of Labura, quoted by Palmoilmagazine.com on Wednesday (17/7/2024), the reconciliation aimed to align perceptions and understanding of SRP fund distribution, ensure accountability and transparency in fund management, and confirm proper allocation.

The meeting was attended by SRP treasurers from various provinces, regencies, and cities across Indonesia involved in the plantation sector.

During the event, the treasurers of SRP got explanation about SRP fund allocation mechanism, should check accountability documents, budget realization, and how to formulate/arrange financial and tax reports. It is hoped by the event, the development and monitoring to get proposal, plantation physical assessment would be running better and accountably.

This would lead SRP to get its goal to escalate palm oil plantation productivity and competitiveness in Indonesia. (P2)
