PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – Indonesia’s Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Erick Thohir, has officially appointed new directors and commissioners for PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero), a state-owned enterprise focused on the palm oil industry. The company is the result of the transformation of PT Indra Karya (Persero), now shifting its focus to managing and developing the palm oil plantation sector.
This restructuring is formalized in the Indonesian Minister of Law’s Decree No. AHU-0012457.AH.01.02.Tahun 2025 on the Approval of Amendments to the Articles of Association of PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara, issued on February 21, 2025.
As part of the leadership changes, Erick Thohir appointed Agus Sutomo as President Director. Agus, a retired high-ranking officer of the Indonesian Army (TNI-AD), previously served as Inspector General of the Ministry of Defense. Additionally, R. Wisnoe Prasetja Boedi, also a retired TNI-AD officer who last held the position of Inspector General of the Army, has been named President Commissioner.
