PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The Crude Palm Oil (CPO) auction held at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) saw an increase to Rp 11,025/kg on Wednesday (2/8/2023), marking a notable improvement of Rp 162/kg compared to the previous Tuesday’s (1/8/2023) auction where the price stood at Rp 10,863/kg.
According to information obtained from KPBN, the CPO price in Belawan and Dumai reached Rp 11,025/kg, while in Talang Duku, it was priced at Rp 10,875/kg. However, in withdrawal (WD), the highest bid was recorded at Rp 10,730/kg. In Palembang, the price was also Rp 10,875/kg, but in WD, the highest bid was slightly higher at Rp 10,800/kg.
Crude palm kernel oil (CPKO) in Dumai was Rp. 11.101/Kg. In Lampung it was Rp. 10.880/Kg, but in WD with the highest bid Rp. 9.336/kg.

As in the official statement to Palmoilmagazine.com , crude palm oil (CPO) reference price to decide out fee (OF) and tariff on Public Service Obligation of Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA) or famously known as export levy on 1—15 August 2023 would be US$ 826,48/metric ton (MT).
Referring to available regulation of minister of finance (RMF), the government decided CPO OF would be US$ 33/MT and CPO levy would be US$ 85/MT on 1 — 15 August 2023, just the same in the previous period, US$ 118/MT in total.
