PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) auction held by PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) witnessed an uptick, reaching Rp 11,008/kg on Tuesday (15/8/2023). This marked an improvement of Rp 258/kg compared to the previous day’s auction on Monday (14/8/2023), where the price stood at Rp 10,750/kg.
According to information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, CPO prices were recorded at Rp 11,008/kg in Belawan and Dumai. In Talang Duku, the price was Rp. 10,858/kg, while the withdrawal (WD) option had the highest bid at Rp 10,758/kg. In Teluk Bayur, the price stood at Rp 10,878/kg. Similarly, in Palembang, the price was Rp. 10,833/kg, with a WD option having the highest bid at Rp 10,766/kg.
Crude palm kernel oil (CPKO) in Dumai was Rp 11.154/kg. In Lampung it was Rp. 10.933/Kg but inWD with the highest bid Rp. 8.500/Kg.

The increasing CPO price happened in Bursa Malaysia Derivative Exchange. As quoted from Reuters, CPO contract reference price with the code FCPOc3 for October 2023 delivery at Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange increased RM 86 or about 2,33% to be RM 3.780 (US$ 816,94) per metric ton in the early session.
