PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The Crude Palm Oil (CPO) tender held at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, saw a reduction in price to Rp 11,140/kg. This marked a decrease of Rp 115/kg compared to the previous Monday’s tender on August 21, 2023, which was priced at Rp 11,255/kg.
According to the information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the CPO prices in Belawan and Dumai stood at Rp 11,140/kg. In Talang Duku, the price was recorded at Rp 10,990/kg, while the withdrawal (WD) with the highest bid was noted at Rp 10,881/kg. In Palembang, the CPO price was reported as Rp 10,940/kg.
As for Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO), its price in Sei Mangkei reached Rp 11,265/kg, with a WD option and the highest bid at Rp 10,830/kg. In Lampung, the CPKO price was registered as Rp 11,146/kg, and with the WD option, the highest bid was noted at Rp 10,000/kg. In Palembang, the CPKO price stood at Rp 11,003/kg, and the WD option had the highest bid at Rp 10,275/kg.

It was the same with CPO price that got cheaper in Malaysia Derivative Exchange. As quoted from Reuters, CPO price reference with the code FCPOc3 for November 2023 delivery at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange got cheaper RM 60 or about 1,52%, to be RM 3.876 (US$ 833,91) per metric ton in the early session which eventually cut off the previous session – profit.
