PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The Crude palm oil (CPO) price at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) tender saw an increase, reaching Rp 11,225 per kilogram on Friday (3/11/2023).
This marks an improvement of Rp 20 per kilogram or approximately 0.18% compared to the tender price on Thursday (2/11/2023), which stood at Rp 11,205 per kilogram. Over the course of this week, the average CPO price at KPBN has risen by about 1.12%.
Palmoilmagazine.com reported that the CPO price obtained from KPBN for Franco Belawan and Dumai was Rp 11,225 per kilogram. In Talang Duku, it was priced at Rp 11,025 per kilogram, with a withdrawal (WD) option available at the highest bid of Rp 11,000 per kilogram. The price in Teluk Bayur was Rp 11,095 per kilogram.

Meanwhile, the price of Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO) in Palembang was Rp 10,405 per kilogram. In Lampung, it was priced at Rp 10,548 per kilogram, with a WD option at the highest bid of Rp 9,000 per kilogram.
The CPO price at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange also increased on Friday (3/11/2023), primarily due to concerns over the supply shortage, which outweighed concerns about reduced food imports to India and declining demand in China.
According to Reuters, the CPO reference contract price with the code FCPOc3 for January 2024 delivery at Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange stood at RM 3,784 per metric ton (equivalent to US$ 798.82) during the lunch break. This represents a 0.2% increase over the past week and continues the upward trend for the fourth consecutive week.
