PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA The crude palm oil (CPO) price at the PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) tender reached Rp 11,115/kg on Thursday (4/1/2024), indicating a rise of Rp 140/kg, or approximately 1.27%, compared to the previous day’s tender on Wednesday (3/1/2024) at Rp 10,975/kg.
According to information obtained from KPBN by Palmoilmagazine.com, the CPO Franco price in Belawan stood at Rp 11,115/kg. In West Kalimantan, CPO was priced at Rp 10,765/kg, with a withdrawal (WD) option available at the highest bid of Rp 7,000/kg. Additionally, crude palm kernel oil (CPKO) in Dumai was quoted at Rp 11,666/kg.
Simultaneously, the CPO price at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange experienced an increase on Thursday (4/1/2023), putting an end to the four consecutive sessions of declining prices. This uptick was attributed to a decrease in production and the rising cost of crude oil.

As quoted from Reuters, the CPO reference contract with the code FCPOc3 for March 2024 delivery at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange increased RM 35 per metric ton, or about 1%, to RM 3.656 (US$ 789,12) per metric ton.
