CPO Prices at KPBN Tender Decreased on Wednesday (31/1)

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The Crude Palm Oil (CPO) tender held at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) recorded a price of Rp 11,718/kg on Wednesday (31/1/2024). This signifies a decrease of Rp 82/kg or approximately 0.69% compared to the Tuesday (30/1/2024) tender, which stood at Rp 11,800/kg.

As reported by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the CPO Franco price in Dumai was Rp 11,718/kg. Meanwhile, the Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO) in Lampung was priced at Rp 12,375/kg but experienced a withdrawal (WD) with the highest bid at Rp 10,005/kg.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday (31/1/2024), the CPO price at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange decreased, coinciding with a broader decline in other vegetable oil prices and sluggish economic data in China. However, it’s noteworthy that the contract price exhibited a monthly increase.

As quoted from Reuters, CPO reference contract price with the code FCPOc3 for April 2024 delivery at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange decreased RM 47 per ton or about 1,22% to be RM 3.795 (US$ 802,83) per metric ton in the closing session.

This month, CPO contract price was rebound 1,99% after it fell down 4,47% in December 2023.
