PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The withdrawal of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) occurred with the highest bid at Rp 12,135/kg on Thursday (22/2/2024), indicating a decrease of Rp 65/kg or approximately 0.53% compared to the tender on Wednesday (21/2/2024), which was Rp 12,200/kg.
Palmoilmagazine.com reported that CPO Franco in Belawan and Dumai was priced at Rp 12,231/kg but was withdrawn with the highest bid at Rp 12,135/kg. Similarly, CPO in Talang Duku was priced at Rp 12,031/kg but was withdrawn with the highest bid at Rp 11,935/kg.
CPO in East Kalimantan was priced at Rp 11,831/kg but was withdrawn with the highest bid at Rp 10,000/kg. In West Kalimantan, it was priced at Rp 11,881/kg but was withdrawn with the highest bid at Rp 11,500/kg.
Crude palm kernel oil (CPKO) in Lampung was priced at Rp 12,599/kg, but it was withdrawn with the highest bid at Rp 7,500/kg.

Meanwhile, CPO at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange experienced an increase on Thursday (22/2/2024). This trend was observed in other vegetable oils at Dalian and soyoil at the Chicago Board of Trade, despite a decrease in export data.
As quoted from Reuters, CPO reference contract price with the code FCPOc3 for May 2024 delivery at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange escalated RM 26 per ton or about 0,67% to be RM 3.889 (US$ 811,90) per metric ton in the launch break.
