PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – On Friday, February 23rd, 2024, the price of crude palm oil (CPO) at the PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) tender stood at Rp 12,070/kg. This marked a decrease of Rp 65/kg, equivalent to approximately 0.54%, compared to Thursday’s tender on February 22nd, 2024, which was Rp 12,135/kg.
According to information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the price of CPO Franco in Belawan and Dumai was Rp 12,070/kg. In Talang Duku, it was Rp 11,870/kg, while the highest bid for withdrawal (WD) was Rp 11,935/kg. In East Kalimantan, the price was Rp 11,670/kg, with the highest WD bid at Rp 10,000/kg. In West Kalimantan, the price was Rp 11,720/kg, with the highest WD bid at Rp 11,630/kg.
What Palmoilmagazine.com calculated, on 19-23 February 2024, CPO average price at KPBN increased about Rp 230,75/kg to be Rp 12.096,00/kg or increased about 1,94% to CPO average price in the previous week (12-16 February 2023) that was Rp. 11.865,25/kg.

Meanwhile, CPO at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange got decreased on Friday, (23/2/2024) in a row because other vegetable oils at Dalian Commodity Exchange did too. But the weekly price increased.
As quoted from Reuters, CPO reference contract price with the code FCPOc3 for May 2024 delivery at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange got cheaper RM 17 per ton or about 0,44% to be RM 3.822 (US$ 800,59) per metric ton in the launch break. It increased 0,34% this week.
