PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – On Monday (26/2/2024), the tender price for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) rose to Rp 12,105/kg, marking an increase of Rp 35/kg or approximately 0.29% from the previous Friday’s tender, which stood at Rp 12,070/kg.
According to Palmoilmagazine.com, the CPO price Franco in Belawan and Dumai was also Rp 12,105/kg. However, in Talang Duku, it was slightly lower at Rp 11,905/kg, while in withdrawal (WD), the highest bid reached Rp 11,795/kg.
In East Kalimantan, the price was Rp 11,705/kg, dropping further to Rp 10,000/kg in WD with the highest bid. Similarly, in West Kalimantan, the price was Rp 11,755/kg, but in WD, the highest bid was Rp 11,610/kg.

Contrastingly, at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange, the CPO price experienced a decline on Monday (26/2/2024) following a series of weekly increases. This drop was attributed to a decrease in export data, which exerted downward pressure on the price.
As quoted from Reuters, CPO reference contract price with the code FCPOc3 for May 2024 delivery at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange got cheaper about 0,21% to be RM 3,845 (US$ 805,24) per metric ton at the lunch break. The contracts increased 1,1% last week.
