PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom has been set at Rp 13,240 / kg on Monday (1/4/2024). This marks a price increase of Rp 30/kg, or about 1.77% compared to the price on Thursday (28/3/2024) which reached Rp 12,980/kg.

According to the information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN Inacom, the price of CPO Franco Belawan & Dumai was set at IDR 13,240/kg. Meanwhile, the initial price of CPO Franco Talang Duku was set at Rp 13,090/kg, but there was a withdrawal with the highest bid reaching Rp 13,020/kg. The East Kalimantan CPO Franco price was set at Rp 12,840/kg and the West Kalimantan CPO price at Rp 12,890/kg.

Meanwhile, CPO prices on the Malaysian exchange also increased. The price of palm oil futures contracts on the Malaysian exchange rose on Monday (1/4/2024), following the soaring price of soybean oil contracts on the Dalian Commodity Exchange and soybean prices on the Chicago Board of Trade.

As reported by Reuters, the price of the benchmark FCPOc3 palm oil contract for June 2024 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange increased by RM 33 per ton or around 0.79% to RM 4,227 (US$ 895.36) per metric ton in morning trade.

  • Franco Belawan & Dumai: Rp 13,240-PHPO, PAA, IBP, MM
  • Talang Duku: IDR 13,090 (WD). Highest bid: IDR 13,020-PHPO
  • East Kalimantan: IDR 12,840-EUP
  • West Kalimantan: IDR 12,890-EUP. (P2)
