PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was priced at Rp 13,570/kg on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. This marks a decrease of Rp 70/kg, or about 0.51%, compared to Monday’s tender price of Rp 13,640/kg.
According to information from KPBN, CPO prices were as follows: Franco Dumai at Rp 13,570/kg, Talang Duku at Rp 13,370/kg, Sei Tapung at Rp 13,331/kg, and Teluk Bayur at Rp 13,440/kg.
Reuters reported that the CPO contract price on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell for the first time in five sessions on Tuesday, due to a strengthening ringgit and concerns about demand from India, the world’s largest vegetable oil importer, which had canceled import contracts.

The reference price for CPO December 2024 delivery on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange dropped by RM 20 per ton, or about 0.5%, to RM 3,957 (US$ 948.92) per metric ton by midday.
India recently increased import duties on vegetable oils, leading to the cancellation of around 100,000 metric tons of CPO purchases for October and December deliveries by refineries in the country.
Still from Reuters, soyoil contract price at Dalian got increased 0,96%, CPO contract price did too 0,61%. Soyoil price at Chicago Board of Trade got decreased 0,24%.
