PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – On Tuesday (22/10/2024), the crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom reached Rp 14,183/kg, marking a 1.16% increase (Rp 163/kg) from the previous day’s tender price of Rp 14,020/kg on Monday (21/10/2024).
According to KPBN data, CPO Franco in Dumai was priced at Rp 14,183/kg, in Teluk Bayur at Rp 14,053/kg, and in Talang Duku at Rp 13,983/kg.
Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, CPO contract prices at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange also rose on Tuesday (22/10/2024). This increase was driven by higher prices of other vegetable oils overnight. The reference CPO contract price (FCPOc3) for January 2025 delivery increased by RM 44 per ton, or about 1.02%, reaching RM 4,343 per metric ton by midday.

The more expansive soyoil, the competitor of CPO during the night to morning session supported palm oil price, as a trader in Kuala Lumpur said.
Soyoil contract price at Dalian (DBYcv1) got increased 0,8%, CPO contract price did too (DCPcv1) 1,54%. But soyoil price at Chicago Board of Trade (BOcv1) got decreqased 0,14%.
