PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at IDR 14,501/kg on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. This reflects a 0.69% increase, or about IDR 100/kg, from Tuesday’s (April 22) price of IDR 14,401/kg.
According to information from KPBN reported by Palmoilmagazine.com, the CPO Franco prices for Belawan, Kuala Tanjung, and Dumai were all set at IDR 14,501/kg. Meanwhile, the Franco price for Talang Duku stood at IDR 14,301/kg.
Citing Reuters, palm oil futures on the Malaysian Derivatives Exchange also closed higher on Wednesday. The rise was driven by more attractive prices and stronger sentiment across the vegetable oil markets.

Sources told Reuters that India has resumed palm oil purchases after a five-month pause. Lower prices have made palm oil more attractive than its rival, soybean oil, prompting refiners to restock.
