PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at Rp14,488/kg on Thursday, April 24, 2025. This marks a slight decrease of 0.09% or about Rp13/kg compared to the previous day’s price of Rp14,501/kg on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

From information received by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the Belawan & Dumai CPO Franco Price was set at Rp14,488/kg. Then the CPO Franco Talang Duku price was opened at IDR 14,288/kg, but there was a Withdraw (WD) with the highest bid price of IDR 14,263/kg.

Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, palm oil futures in the Malaysian market traded in a narrow range on Thursday as traders awaited further signals. Gains from competing vegetable oils offered support, but a stronger ringgit and rising production capped the upside.

The benchmark palm oil futures contract (FCPOc3) for July 2025 delivery on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell by RM14/ton or 0.35%, reaching RM4,023/ton (US$917.45) by midday.

The contract traded between RM4,005 and RM4,054 in early sessions, after closing at RM4,037 in the previous session. The Malaysian ringgit strengthened by 0.07% against the US dollar, making the contract less appealing to foreign investors.

In comparison, Dalian’s most active soybean oil contract (DBYcv1) rose by 0.56%, while its palm oil contract (DCPcv1) climbed 0.86%. Soybean oil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) (BOc2) also increased by 0.54%.
