Indonesia CPO Price Rises to IDR 15,688/kg as Malaysian CPO Hits RM4,724/tonne

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA — Indonesia’s domestic crude palm oil (CPO) market strengthened on Thursday (August 13, 2026), with PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom setting its Franco Dumai CPO price at IDR 15,688 per kg, up IDR 86 per kg, or around 0.55%, from the previous day’s highest bid.

According to KPBN tender data obtained by PalmOilMagazine, the Franco Dumai CPO price was set at IDR 15,688 per kg. Meanwhile, CPO at FOB Talang Duku was offered at IDR 15,438 per kg but was withdrawn (WD), with the highest bid reaching IDR 15,275 per kg.

The Franco Teluk Bayur CPO tender was also withdrawn. The opening price was IDR 15,488 per kg, while the highest bid reached IDR 15,325 per kg.

For downstream palm products, crude palm kernel oil (CPKO) at Franco Dumai was offered at IDR 27,490 per kg but was withdrawn, with the highest bid at IDR 26,560 per kg.

Meanwhile, palm kernel (PK) at Loco PKS Pagar Merbau was offered at IDR 12,938 per kg and was withdrawn, with the highest bid at IDR 12,745 per kg. Loco PKS Solok Selatan was priced at IDR 12,121 per kg.

The strengthening domestic market tracked gains in Malaysian CPO futures. The benchmark October 2026 CPO contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed up RM27 per tonne, or 0.57%, at RM4,724 per tonne on Thursday.

Malaysian CPO futures had traded lower during the session before reversing course to finish higher. The rebound was supported by gains in competing vegetable oils on the Dalian exchange, while market participants continued to await fresh catalysts for the next market direction.

On the Dalian Commodity Exchange, the most-active soyoil contract gained around 0.5%, while the palm oil contract rose 0.4%. Meanwhile, soyoil futures on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) edged up around 0.06%.
