PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU — Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for plasma smallholders in Riau Province declined for the August 12–18, 2026 period, according to the latest decision of the provincial FFB Pricing Team.
Based on Minutes of Meeting No. 29/TBS-PM/VIII/2026, the price of FFB from nine-year-old oil palm trees was set at IDR 3,941.29/kg, down IDR 70.53/kg from IDR 4,011.82/kg in the previous period.
The prices were determined at a meeting of Riau Province’s Plasma Oil Palm FFB Pricing Team held on August 11, 2026. The calculation was based on CPO and palm kernel price data for the August 3–9, 2026 sales period, submitted by 24 partner companies serving as data sources.

The following are the official FFB prices for plasma smallholders in Riau for the August 12–18, 2026 period:
- 3 years: IDR 3,038.52/kg
- 4 years: IDR 3,443.74/kg
- 5 years: IDR 3,649.58/kg
- 6 years: IDR 3,808.46/kg
- 7 years: IDR 3,890.63/kg
- 8 years: IDR 3,936.60/kg
- 9 years: IDR 3,941.29/kg
- 10–20 years: IDR 3,920.32/kg

The weighted average CPO price for the August 3–9, 2026 sales period was recorded at IDR 15,659.31/kg, while the weighted average palm kernel price was set at IDR 13,885.58/kg.
Meanwhile, the shell value used in the pricing formula was recorded at IDR 18.27/kg, with the K index set at 93.39%. The official FFB prices include the additional shell value in accordance with prevailing regulations in Riau Province.
The Riau Provincial FFB Pricing Team is scheduled to determine prices for the next period, August 19–25, 2026, at a meeting to be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. Western Indonesia Time. (P2)
