PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – Indonesia’s palm oil sector is stepping up efforts to develop digital talent as the industry accelerates technology adoption. Citra Widya Edukasi (CWE) Palm Oil Polytechnic and PT Lembaga Aplikasi Teknologi (LAT) Trisakti have launched the mySAP365 AIX 2026 Batch-2 internship program, sending 17 final-year students to gain hands-on experience in enterprise digital solutions for plantation operations.
The participants comprise 16 recipients of scholarships from the Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDP) and one regular student from the Bachelor’s Applied Program in Software Engineering Technology (TRPL). The internship officially began on July 28, 2026.
The program is designed to prepare a new generation of digital professionals capable of supporting the palm oil industry’s digital transformation. During the internship, students will be assigned to partner plantation companies, where they will work with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems integrated with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.

According to Azhar Basyir Rantawi, Head of the Software Engineering Technology Program at CWE Palm Oil Polytechnic, participants will undergo an intensive four-month training program from August to December 2026.
Students will receive practical training in modular mySAP365 AIX programming, enabling them to customize ERP applications to meet plantation operational requirements while integrating mobile technologies, the Internet of Things (IoT), and AI into business processes.
Azhar said the internship is intended to equip students with technical skills that match the growing digitalization needs of plantation companies, where technology increasingly supports data management, operational decision-making, and business efficiency.

Meanwhile, Saiful Bahri, representing PT LAT Trisakti, said the company is committed to developing the next generation of mySAP365 AIX developers to help meet the plantation sector’s increasing demand for digital expertise.
He noted that demand for professionals capable of developing AI-enabled modular ERP systems will continue to grow as plantation companies accelerate digital transformation and seek more transparent, efficient, and audit-ready business processes.
