PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU – Based on the official pricing letter No. 14 issued by the Riau Provincial Pricing Committee, the Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) price for independent (swadaya) palm oil farmers in Riau for the period of April 30 to May 6, 2025, has been set. The price for 9-year-old oil palms declined slightly by IDR 25.43/kg, settling at IDR 3,585.89/kg — the highest in the current pricing bracket.
According to data gathered by Palmoilmagazine.com from the Riau Plantation Agency, the FFB prices by tree age are as follows:
- Age 3 years: IDR 2,781.41/kg
- Age 4 years: IDR 3,099.13/kg
- Age 5 years: IDR 3,323.14/kg
- Age 6 years: IDR 3,450.23/kg
- Age 7 years: IDR 3,528.12/kg
- Age 8 years: IDR 3,570.49/kg
- Age 9 years: IDR 3,585.89/kg
- Age 10–20 years: IDR 3,549.85/kg
- Age 21 years: IDR 3,491.37/kg
- Age 22 years: IDR 3,423.68/kg
- Age 23 years: IDR 3,346.70/kg
- Age 24 years: IDR 3,288.33/kg
- Age 25 years: IDR 3,240.54/kg
The crude palm oil (CPO) price was recorded at IDR 14,318.70/kg, while palm kernel was valued at IDR 14,022.09/kg. Palm shell was priced at IDR 29.08/kg, with a K index of 92.65%. (P2)
