PALMOILMAGAZINE, KOBA – The Regency of Bangka Tengah, through the Food Security and Agriculture Agency, conducted a field visit to Muchtar’s plantations in Terentang III Village, Koba Subdistrict. The visit was attended by the Regent of Bangka Tengah, Algafry Rahman.

The visit aimed to advance the agriculture sector by utilizing environmental technology, including eco-enzyme as a natural pesticide and organic fertilizers. Eco-enzyme, produced from the fermentation of organic waste such as fruit, sugar, chocolate, and water, will be a key focus to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers in a sustainable manner.

Regent Algafry Rahman highlighted that the plantation sector is crucial as a pillar of the local economy. He emphasized the need for greater support through the implementation of agricultural innovations and technologies.
