PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk. (ANJ) continues to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to transparently uphold good business practices through good corporate governance (GCG) and sustainable principles. On Monday (27/11).
ANJ achieved the third rank in the non-financial Go Public category at the Annual Report Award (ARA) 2023. The award ceremony took place in the main hall of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (Bursa Efek Indonesia or BEI) in Jakarta.
The ARA is an annual accolade presented to companies in recognition of their effective management of open information and adherence to GCG principles. Supported by the Ministry of Enterprises, General Directorate of Tax, Indonesian Bank, BEI, Komite Nasional Kebijakan Governance (KNKG), and Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia, the award signifies ANJ’s dedication to GCG principles.

Lucas Kurniawan, Director of ANJ, received the award directly from Sigit Pramono, the Vice Chairman of KNKG and Chairman of the ARA 2022 Committee. Adrianto Machribie, an Independent Commissioner of ANJ, welcomed the acknowledgment as a positive affirmation, reinforcing ANJ’s position as an agribusiness food company committed to managing open information and adhering to GCG principles.
ARA is not only an award but also the way to encourage GCG principles in Indonesia. Chairman of KNKG and Director of ARA, Prof. Mardiasmo said that the assessment was about focusing on annual report open information according to every available regulation and guidelines.

As in the official statement to Palmoilmagazine.com, Thursday (30/11/2023), (Independent) Commissioner of ANJ, Adrianto Machribie did appreciate ARA as the first achievement for the company. It reflected the adjustment of ARA with open information that the regulator needed and the commitment of the company to get GCG.

Meanwhile, Lucas Kurniawan emphasized that the award is the real evidence of what ANJ committed to in GCG principles to maximize the asset of the company. He hoped that the award would escalate other stakeholders’ trust to develop more open and transparent GCG. (T2)
