PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The Program Penilaian Peringkat Kinerja Perusahaan (PROPER) is the assessment from Ministry of Environment and Forestry to know and assess company that operate in sustainable development principles in producing goods and services; do environment management system; efficiently use energy; do resource conservation; and responsibly and ethically do businesses.
On December 20, 2023, Asian Agri was honored with the PROPER Award on a national scale, specifically in the green category for the 2022-2023 period.
This prestigious recognition, bestowed by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, was granted to three of Asian Agri’s business units. These units were lauded for their consistent adherence to sound environmental governance practices, surpassing the regulatory standards set by the government.

The business units of Asian Agri that got PROPER award are PT Inti Indosawit Subur II Tungkal Ulu, PT Rigunas Agri Utama PMKS Bungo Tebo, and PT Dasa Anugrah Sejati PMKS Taman Raja. The award was handed over by Vice Minister of Environment and Forestry, Alue Dohong in ‘Anugerah PROPER tahun 2023’ in Hotel Bidakara Jakarta, where Vice President Ma’ruf Amin also attended.
In his speech, Vice President Ma’ruf Amin emphasized that the company should have social responsibility to empower the people to be more independent, not only about delivering helps. He hoped PROPER award would change the paradigm and be the inspiration for other companies.
Vice Minister Alue Dohong did welcome the presence of Vice President Ma’ruf Amin and hoped that the presence would be the spirit to encourage and inspire others to maintain the environment well.

“PROPER Award is the acknowledgement for business world in environmental, eco-innovation, social innovation, environmental green leadership managements of a company,” Alue Dohong said, as in the official statement to Palmoilmagazine.com, Tuesday (20/12/2023).
Manager PT Rigunas Agri Utama PMKS Bungo Tebo, Sangal Leoward Butar-Butar, told his pride for getting the award in green scale -rank. He emphasized that the positive contthousandtion of a company is not only to environment but also to the people directly.
Manager PT Inti Indosawit Subur II Tungkal Ulu, Bellie Tan was happy to get the award. It is the evidence of operational adjustment of the company with what the government regulates. He promised to keep maintaining and escalating the rank.
Meanwhile, Manager PT Dasa Anugrah Sejati PMKS Taman Raja, Jazmi Luthfi said, the award is the motivation to keep sustainably doing business as what it is in Asian Agri 2030 Commitment. (T2)
