PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The stock price of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk. (AALI) has been on a downward trend since the beginning of 2024, experiencing a correction of approximately 4.55% in just one month, reflecting its annual performance.
Year-to-date (YTD), AALI stocks have corrected by about 2.85%, indicating sustained pressure on the company’s stock performance during the recent trading period.
In response to this situation, AALI announced the resignation of three directors from the company, highlighting a shift in internal leadership. According to documents submitted to the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), Mario C. Surung Gultom, Rujito Purnomo, and Said Fakhrullah tendered their resignation as directors of the company on March 4, 2024.

As quoted from Bisnis, the official documents referred to the Regulation of OJK Number 33/POJK.04/2014 about Directors and Commissioner Board or Public Company. The signature of Mario C.S. Gultom, who was a director at AALI, confirmed the resignation as the available regulations.
Here are short profile of the three directors that resigned on the documents.
Mario Casimirus Surung Gultom
Mario Gultom, an Indonesian citizen was a director of AALI since 2017 and he was also the secretary of the company. He did involve in many key positions in the company since 2000s, including as Deputy Director of Research and Development, and President Director in many AALI affiliations in many regions.
Mario Gultom graduated from Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi, Jakarta.
Rujito Purnomo
Rujito Purnomo had been a director at AALI since 2017. He got many experiences in plantation management namely in rubber. Prior, he did get many important positions in the company and its affiliation in many regions in Indonesia.
Rujito Purnomo graduated from INSTIPER Yogyakarta.
Said Fakhrullah
Said Fakhrullah had been a director at AALI in 2019. Prior, he got many experinces in project development and management in plantation sectors. He got many important positions in the company and its affiliations in many regions.
Said Fakhrullah graduated from Universitas Padjajaran, Bandung. (T1)
