PALMOILMAGAZINE, KETAPANG – PT Kayung Agro Lestari (KAL), a palm oil plantation company and subsidiary of PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk. (ANJ), located in the Regency of Ketapang, West Kalimantan Province, received an award of appreciation from the Regency of Ketapang for its efforts in minimizing stunting cases in the region.
The Vice Regent of Ketapang, H. Farhan, presented the award during the Rembuk Stunting event organized by the Regional Development Plan Agency of the Regency of Ketapang on Thursday (21/03) at a local hotel. The event was attended by various agency heads, village leaders, public health officials, and representatives from private companies investing in Ketapang. Vice Regent Farhan, who also serves as the Chairman of the Regency of Ketapang’s Stunting Acceleration Team (TPPS), presided over the inauguration.
In his address, Farhan expressed optimism about achieving zero stunting and urged all stakeholders to unite their efforts toward realizing this significant goal.

“We have to make the case zero in Regency of Ketapang, formulate work plans, right targets that would have the right influence to intervene the case,” he said, as in the official statement to Palmoilmagazine.com, Tuesday (26/3/2024).
Farhan also reminded every agency and the officers, starting from the regency to village levels, including other stakeholders and organization, should be in charge to minimize stunting prevalence (cases).
Meanwhile General Manager KAL, Dadi told that the company keeps supporting the regional government’s programs in health sector namely to minimize stunting case in the villages where KAL operates.

“Through the program – giving additional foods in public health centers, mobile health service, health infrastructure procurement and socialization to do healthy life and also escalating the villagers’ economy, the company would always do. These are the same with the vision and mission of ANJ Group to do the best to escalate the villagers’ lives through education, health, and social economy empowerment programs,” Dadi said. (T2)
