PALMOILMAGAZINE, BOGOR — State plantation holding company PTPN III (Persero), in collaboration with the State Finance Accountability Agency (BAKN) of the Indonesian House of Representatives and PTPN I, carried out a tree-planting initiative as part of its commitment to environmental sustainability. This effort is part of the “PTPN 1 Million Trees Reforestation Program,” launched by the PTPN Group.

The tree-planting event took place on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the Gunung Mas Agro-tourism site owned by PTPN I. It symbolizes the strong synergy between PTPN and government institutions in fostering a greener and more sustainable environment.

“To build a greener and more sustainable future, it’s time for everyone to take an active role in preserving the environment by planting trees,” said Dwi Sutoro in a statement received by Palmoilmagazine.com on Sunday, May 4, 2025. “Trees are an investment in our future. By planting them, we create a legacy for the next generation,” he added.

The “PTPN 1 Million Trees Reforestation Program” is a large-scale initiative by the PTPN Group aimed at planting trees across its operational areas, providing a tangible response to climate change and helping to maintain ecological balance.

The involvement of BAKN DPR RI in this initiative underscores legislative support for environmental conservation efforts led by this state-owned enterprise. Meanwhile, the participation of PTPN I’s executive team reflects the internal cohesion and collective commitment within the PTPN Group to realize this important program.
