PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – Chief Executive Officer, Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), Joseph (JD) D’Cruz said that this would be the opportunity to celebrate the incredible achievement with the partners of RSPO for the past 20 years – starting from multi-stakeholder mobilization and carrying out almost 20% of palm oil production globally managed by closely certification standards, escalating smallholders’ source of living, workers, local communities whole over the world and showing that sustainability and economic welfare could live side by side in harmony.
“To continue the moment, RT 2023 would get the theme “Partners for the Next 20” and focus to realize our goals for the next 20 years. We have opportunities as partners globally to get firmly action and solve the future challenges in sustainable palm oil industries,” D’Cruz said.
The discussion would help to arrange strategies that would also deliver impacts in agriculture sectors particularly when the planet is in crisis. “We hope to reinforce our partnership as same as our actions for the next 20 years and the rests,” he said.

RSPO, a multi – stakeholder non-government organization would conduct 2023 roundtable meeting (RT2023) about sustainable palm oil on 20 – 22 November 2023 in Hotel Mulia Senayan, DKI Jakarta Province, Indonesia.
This would be the first RT after pandemic era. The last RT was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as the most successful RT until now for it was joined by more than 800 delegations from more than 40 countries. “We would like to maintain the moment this year,” RSPO noted as in the official statement to Palmoilmagazine.com, Wednesday (23/8/2023).
The theme of RT2023 “Partners for the Next 20” would collaboratively deliver opportunities to take real action about the main challenge that sustainable palm oil industries are facing.
It is believed, RT 2023 in Jakarta, Indonesia would deliver more chances for RSPO and its partners to realize the same vision in sustainable palm oil when heading to the 20th commemoration of RSPO in April 2024. (T2)
