Biodiesel program (mixing crude palm oil to diesel) has been running since 2016 and got fund from Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA). Unfortunately, many independent smallholders do not directly get advantage from the program.

To get biodiesel mandatory program recommendation that would deliver direct impacts for smallholders, Serikat Petani Kelapa Sawit (SPKS) would conduct a three day – Rembug Tani Nasional Petani Kelapa Sawit Indonesia 2023 or on 31 August – 2 September 2023 with the theme “Pemanfaatan TBS Petani Sawit Swadaya Melalui Kemitraan dalam mendukung Program Biodiesel sebagai Sumber Energi Transisi Berkelanjutan di Indonesia”.
