PALMOILMAGAZINE, SEUMANAH JAYA – To expedite the infrastructure proposal process with the Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA), the Head of Seumanah Jaya Village, Muhammad Sabri, invited the Chairman of the Aceh Palm Oil Farmers Union (SPKS), Abubakar AR, to directly address the villagers. The meeting, held at night, was attended by local dusun heads, youth, and other community members.
In his speech, Muhammad Sabri expressed gratitude for Abubakar’s visit. “Alhamdulillah, the Chairman of SPKS Aceh was willing to come here despite the late hour. His presence brings good news for us,” Sabri said, as reported in an official statement to Palmoilmagazine.com on Thursday (29/8/2024).
Abubakar AR explained that the infrastructure funds from PFMA come from the sale of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) produced by smallholders. “These funds are your right, intended to meet your needs, such as improving production and harvesting methods. The grant does not require repayment in the proposal,” he stated.

He also mentioned the infrastructure proposal process would be easier as long as the terms and conditions needed would be complete as regulated in the Decision of General Directorate of Plantation Number 62 / 2023. “The fund would directly be recommended and delivered by PO PFMA. If any party wants to make it difficult, I would directly report it to the legal officials,” he firmly said.
The villagers of Seumanah Jaya were positively responding it. They were happy to directly know the clear explanation from Abubakar. “We just knew that if the fund process to improve the ways, is an easy process,” Sabri said.
The group of Bela Takan in the village planned to immediately propose to get infrastructure fund through online application with the volume, 34 kilometers and 19 spots to get improved. “This week, we would propose it,” Sabri said.
The meeting would be the important one for the smallholders in Seumanah Jaya to increase their agricultural infrastructures with the full supports from PFMA and SPKS Aceh. (P2)
