PALMOILMAGAZINE, TEXAS – Neste, a global renewable energy company, announced the commencement of operations at its new terminal, ONEOK, in Houston, Texas, for blending and storing Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel™ (SAF). This expansion aims to enhance the availability of Neste’s SAF for airlines operating from the eastern Rocky Mountains to the eastern coast of the United States.
The ONEOK terminal boasts a capacity of up to 100,000 tons (approximately 33.5 million gallons) and connects directly to the energy pipeline network in the eastern USA. This development solidifies Neste’s position as a leading SAF supplier for airlines in these regions.
In 2022, Neste demonstrated its capability to supply SAF to LaGuardia Airport in New York using the existing fuel distribution infrastructure. By September 2023, Neste further expanded its operations by increasing terminal capacity in Los Angeles, California, to better serve customers on the west coast.
