PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA –  The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set to drop to Rp 11,275 / kg on Thursday (21/12/2023), thus the price of CPO was recorded to have decreased by Rp 50 / kg, or there was a decrease of around 0.44% compared to the price of CPO on Wednesday (20/12/2023) which reached Rp 11,325 / kg.

From the information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the price of CPO Franco Dumai was set at IDR 11,275 / kg. And the price of CPO Franco Teluk Bayur was set at IDR 11,145/Kg. Then the price of CPO Talang Duku was set at Rp. 11,075 / kg.

Meanwhile, CPO prices on the Malaysian Exchange also recorded a decline. The price of palm oil futures contracts on the Malaysian Exchange fell in early trading on Thursday, (21/12/2023), due to low demand for palm oil.

As reported by Reuters, the price of the benchmark palm oil contract coded FCPOc3 for March 2024 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange decreased by RM 34 per ton or a decline of around 0.90%, to RM 3,744 (US$ 805.51) per ton in early trading.

Referring to information from KPBN, due to the New Year and Christmas holidays, CPO trading will be closed on December 22, 2023 and will reopen on January 3, 2023.

  • Franco Dumai Rp. 11,275-PII
  • Teluk Bayur Rp. 11,145-WNI
  • Talang Duku Rp. 11,075-PII. (T2)
