PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) price at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) tender reached Rp 11,225/kg on Friday (5/1/2024), marking an improvement of Rp 110/kg or approximately 0.98% compared to Thursday’s (4/1/2024) tender at Rp 11,115/kg.
Information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN reveals CPO prices at various locations: Rp 11,225/kg in Belawan, Rp 11,095/kg in Teluk Bayur, Rp 11,025/kg in Talang Duku, Rp 10,825/kg in South Kalimantan, and Rp 10,825/kg in East Kalimantan.
Meanwhile, the CPO price at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange experienced a consecutive increase for the second session on Friday (5/1/2024). This upward trend is attributed to investor confidence in the predicted reduction of production in Malaysia.

CPO reference contract with the code FCPOc3 for March 2024 delivery at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange got better RM 12 per metric ton or about 0,3%, and the last trade was at RM 3.669 ringgit (US$ 789,54) per metric ton in midday.
