CPO Price at KPBN Inacom and Malaysia Exchange Decreased on Thursday (4/4)

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The tender price for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom dropped to Rp 13,428/kg on Thursday (4/4/2024), marking a decrease of Rp 7/kg or approximately 0.05% compared to Wednesday’s (3/4/2024) tender at Rp 13,435/kg.

According to Palmoilmagazine.com, the CPO price at KPBN was Rp 13,428/kg, while CPO Franco in Belawan and Dumai was also priced at Rp 13,428/kg. However, CPO Franco in Talang Duku was listed at Rp 13,278/kg but was withdrawn (WD) with the highest bid at Rp 13,208/kg. Furthermore, Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO) in Lampung was initially priced at Rp 15,426/kg but was withdrawn with the highest bid at Rp 13,003/kg.

Meanwhile, the CPO price at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange decreased on Thursday (4/4/2024), ending a four-session rally due to profit-taking activities. Trade activity was subdued due to holidays in China, with traders also awaiting official stock data by the end of the month.

According to Reuters, the reference contract for CPO with the code FCPOc3 for June 2024 delivery at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange dropped by RM 10 per ton or about 0.23% to RM 4,397 (US$ 928.22) per metric ton..

According to the official documents from KPBN, for holidays – Idul Fitri 1445H, CPO tender would be on Friday, 5 April 2024 and be re-opened on Tuesday (16 April 2024).
