PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU — The fresh fruit bunch (FFB) purchase price for plasma partner smallholders in Indonesia’s Riau province increased for the Sept. 9–15, 2026 period, with the highest price for nine-year-old palms set at IDR 3,994.10 per kg.
The price rose IDR 62.55/kg from the previous period, according to the Minutes of Meeting on the Determination of FFB Purchase Prices for Plasma Partner Smallholders in Riau, No. 33/TPH TBS-IX/2026, issued by the Riau Provincial Palm Oil FFB Pricing Team.

The pricing formula used an average crude palm oil (CPO) price of IDR 15,964.15/kg based on sales during Aug. 31–Sept. 6, 2026.
The average palm kernel price was set at IDR 13,555.16/kg, while the K Index used in the calculation stood at 93.51%. The shell value was recorded at IDR 17.98/kg.

The following are the FFB prices for Riau plasma partner smallholders by palm age for Sept. 9–15, 2026:

Nine-year-old palms recorded the highest FFB price at IDR 3,994.10/kg, followed closely by eight-year-old palms at IDR 3,989.70/kg and palms aged 10–20 years at IDR 3,972.52/kg.
FFB prices generally declined among older palms. The price for 21-year-old palms was set at IDR 3,909.83/kg before falling progressively to IDR 3,459.95/kg for 30-year-old palms.
The lowest price in the latest determination was recorded for three-year-old palms at IDR 3,075.87/kg.

Next Riau FFB Price Review
The Riau Provincial Palm Oil FFB Pricing Team is scheduled to determine the next FFB prices for the Sept. 16–22, 2026 period.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. Jakarta time.
The prices serve as reference prices based on the regional government’s formula for FFB produced by plasma partner smallholders in Riau. (P3)
