Malaysian CPO Futures Extend Gains
While Indonesia’s highest CPO tender bid weakened, Malaysian CPO futures continued their upward momentum on Tuesday, marking a third consecutive session of gains.
The advance was supported primarily by stronger prices for competing vegetable oils and firmer crude oil prices in global markets.
In early trading, the benchmark November 2026 CPO contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose RM21 per metric tonne, or about 0.42%, to RM4,999 per tonne.
The move brought the benchmark contract back within striking distance of the psychologically important RM5,000-per-tonne level.
