PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – On Friday, October 18, 2024, the crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was priced at Rp 14,000/kg, marking a decrease of 0.27% or Rp 38/kg compared to Thursday’s tender on October 17, 2024, which stood at Rp 14,038/kg.
According to data from KPBN, the Franco price for CPO in Dumai was Rp 14,000/kg. In South Kalimantan, the CPO price was Rp 13,600/kg but was later withdrawn (WD), with the highest bid reaching Rp 12,955/kg.
Palmoilmagazine.com calculated that from October 14 to 18, 2024, the average CPO tender price at KPBN increased by Rp 59.60/kg, or 0.43%, to Rp 14,032.00/kg, compared to the previous period (October 7 to 11, 2024), which had an average of Rp 13,972.40/kg.

As quoted by Reuters, the CPO contract price at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose on Friday, October 18, 2024, as traders engaged in profit-taking while awaiting official data on Malaysia’s 2025 CPO production and export figures to guide their next moves.
CPO contract price (FCPOc3) for January 2025 at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange got cheaper RM 7 per ton or about 0,16% to be RM 4.271 (US$ 992,33) per metric ton in the midday. It got decreased 1,82% this week and endd the increasing sssion in the previous four weeks.
Soyoil contract price at Dalian (DBYcv1) got decreased 0,24%, CPO contract price (DCPcv1) did too 0,49% while soyoil price at Chicago Board of Trade (BOcv1) got increased 0,35%.
