PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom saw a withdrawal (WD) during Friday’s (May 23, 2025) tender, with the highest bid reaching Rp13,271/kg. This reflects a 0.59% decline—or a drop of Rp79/kg—from Thursday’s (May 22) price of Rp13,350/kg.
According to data received by Palmoilmagazine.com from the KPBN, the Belawan CPO Franco opened at Rp13,261/kg but was withdrawn after the highest bid only reached Rp13,271/kg. Similarly, Dumai CPO was opened at Rp13,361/kg, but this auction was withdrawn with the highest bid at Rp13,266/kg.
Meanwhile, in global markets, Reuters reported that Malaysian palm oil futures closed higher on Friday, posting a weekly gain. However, expectations of rising production capped further price increases.

A Kuala Lumpur-based trader noted that early session gains were largely erased following the release of production estimates from the Malaysian Palm Oil Association (MPOA).
