KPBN Inacom’s CPO tender recorded a withdrawal on Friday (Aug. 7, 2026), while Malaysian palm oil futures fell amid concerns over rising Malaysian inventories and slower export demand.
AGRICOM, JAKARTA — Crude palm oil (CPO) offered through PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was withdrawn on Friday (Aug. 7, 2026), with the highest bid at IDR 15,607 per kg, down IDR 43, or 0.27%, from the previous day’s highest bid of IDR 15,650 per kg.
According to KPBN data received by Agricom, the CPO price at the Franco Dumai delivery point opened at IDR 15,650 per kg before the tender was withdrawn at the highest bid of IDR 15,607 per kg.

At FOB Talang Duku, CPO was offered at IDR 15,400 per kg before the tender was withdrawn, with the highest bid reaching IDR 15,357 per kg.
Other trading locations also recorded withdrawals. CPO at Franco Teluk Bayur opened at IDR 15,450 per kg, with the highest bid at IDR 15,366 per kg. At FOB Boom Baru, Palembang, the opening price was IDR 15,425 per kg, with the highest bid at IDR 15,382 per kg.
In West Kalimantan, CPO at Loco PKS G. Meliau & Rimba Belian opened at IDR 15,300 per kg, with the highest bid at IDR 15,057 per kg. CPO at FOB IPP Pagun/Parba was also offered at IDR 15,300 per kg, with the highest bid at IDR 15,207 per kg.

Malaysian Palm Oil Futures Decline
In the global market, Malaysian palm oil futures closed lower on Friday, pressured by expectations of higher Malaysian palm oil inventories and slower export demand.
The benchmark October 2026 CPO contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives fell RM8 per metric ton, or 0.17%, to RM4,678 per ton, according to Reuters.

Despite the daily decline, the benchmark contract gained 0.75% over the week, marking its fourth weekly advance in the past five weeks.
A Reuters survey estimated that Malaysia’s palm oil inventories in July could rise to their highest level in five months, as production growth outpaced demand.
Market participants are now awaiting official July supply and demand data from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), scheduled for release on Aug. 10.
