KPBN Inacom CPO Price Falls IDR50 to IDR15,708/kg, Malaysia CPO Also Weakens

KPBN/Inacom CPO prices fell 0.32% to IDR15,708/kg on Friday, while Malaysia’s benchmark December contract dropped 0.77% to RM4,898 per metric ton.

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA — Crude palm oil (CPO) prices in the PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom tender fell IDR50 per kg on Friday (Sept. 18, 2026), with the benchmark price set at IDR15,708/kg, down from the previous day’s top bid of IDR15,758/kg.

The decline was equivalent to 0.32% from Thursday (Sept. 17, 2026).

According to KPBN data obtained by PalmOilMagazine, CPO on a Franco Dumai basis was set at IDR15,708/kg.

Meanwhile, FOB Talang Duku CPO opened at IDR15,458/kg but was withdrawn, with the highest bid at IDR15,357/kg.

Franco Teluk Bayur CPO opened at IDR15,508/kg and was also withdrawn, with the highest bid at IDR15,305/kg.

Malaysia CPO Futures Also Decline

The weaker domestic CPO market coincided with a decline in palm oil futures on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange on Friday.

Malaysia’s CPO market came under pressure from weaker competing vegetable oil prices on the Dalian and Chicago exchanges, as well as softer crude oil prices.

According to Reuters, the benchmark CPO futures contract for December 2026 delivery closed RM38 per metric ton, or 0.77%, lower at RM4,898 per metric ton.

Despite the daily decline, the contract still posted a 1.74% weekly gain.
