PALMOILMAGAZINE, PADANG — Palm oil farmers in West Sumatra received positive news as the Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Pricing Team of the province announced a favorable rate for Period I of July 2025 (1–7 July). The highest price, set for oil palm trees aged 10–20 years, reached IDR 3,326.24 per kilogram.
For the same period, the Crude Palm Oil (CPO) was priced at IDR 13,399.00/kg, Palm kernel was valued at IDR 9,988.86/kg, and K index, a key calculation factor, was recorded at 88.86%.
According to data from the West Sumatra Office of Plantation, Food Crops, and Horticulture, compiled by Palmoilmagazine.com, here are the detailed FFB prices by tree age:
- 3 years: IDR 2,470.06/kg
- 4 years: IDR 2,793.28/kg
- 5 years: IDR 2,951.06/kg
- 6 years: IDR 3,007.23/kg
- 7 years: IDR 3,276.36/kg
- 8–9 years: IDR 3,321.24/kg
- 10–20 years: IDR 3,326.24/kg
- 21 years: IDR 3,212.76/kg
- 22 years: IDR 3,201.76/kg
- 23 years: IDR 3,159.36/kg
- 24 years: IDR 3,004.72/kg
