PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAMBI — The official price of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) from oil palm trees aged 10–20 years in Indonesia’s Jambi province fell by Rp30.2 per kilogram to Rp3,911.53 per kg for the Aug. 7–13, 2026 period, based on data obtained by PalmOilMagazine from the Jambi Provincial Plantation Office.
The decline was determined by Jambi’s FFB Price-Setting Team based on a range of palm oil commodity price parameters applicable to the period.
According to data from the Jambi Provincial Plantation Office, FFB from three-year-old oil palms was priced at Rp3,249.04 per kg, while four-year-old palms were set at Rp3,431.17 per kg. Prices for five- to nine-year-old palms were set at Rp3,509.17, Rp3,604.94, Rp3,687.38, Rp3,742.20 and Rp3,828.88 per kg, respectively.

For oil palms aged 10–20 years, the benchmark FFB price was set at Rp3,911.53 per kg. Meanwhile, FFB prices for 21-year-old palms stood at Rp3,850.52 per kg, followed by Rp3,761.83 per kg for 22-year-old palms, Rp3,724.90 per kg for 23-year-old palms, Rp3,544.88 per kg for 24-year-old palms and Rp3,648.11 per kg for 25-year-old palms.
For older plantations, FFB prices were set at Rp3,530.70 per kg for 26-year-old palms, Rp3,443.65 per kg for 27-year-old palms, Rp3,349.46 per kg for 28-year-old palms, Rp3,248.70 per kg for 29-year-old palms and Rp3,138.12 per kg for 30-year-old palms.

The pricing formula used a crude palm oil (CPO) price of Rp15,351.60 per kg and a palm kernel price of Rp14,212.08 per kg. The shell price was set at Rp16.76 per kg, while the K index was fixed at 93.07%. (P3)
