Having Natural Mainstay Potentials, Minister of Trade Encouraged Jambi to get Export Activity

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – During the “Satu Hari Bersama Jambi” event held in Sarinah, Jakarta on Saturday (8/7/2023), Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan, highlighted the abundant natural resources of Jambi Province.

Zulkifli Hasan emphasized that Jambi possesses significant potentials, including rubber, cinnamon, coffee, tea, palm oil, gloves, nickel, gold, coal, oil, and gas. The event aimed to promote tourism and trade in Jambi Province.

“Jambi has incredible culture and so has the nature. 60 percent of plantations, such as, palm oil, rubber, coffee, and the one and only in the world- Aro wood tea,” Zulkifli Hasan said, as in the official statement to Palmoilmagazine.com.

Zulkifli Hasan encouraged Jambi to get export activity. “That is why we from Ministry of Trade would establish high way. We would get new big markets from Jambi, such as, Bangladesh that needs coal and crude palm oil; Pakistan, Africa, and also Middle East. The biggest trade from Jambi is India, still,” Minister Zulkifli said.

About the mining result, just like President Joko Widodo ordered, Minister Zulkifli encouraged to get downstream products to escalate the profits in this country. He also offended any party that rejected to get downstream sectors in mining but President persistently should get downstream sectors. (T2)
