PALMOILMAGAZINE, JOGJAKARA – In the “Gebyar Just Sawit UKMK” that Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA) conducted at Plaza Ambarukmo, Yogyakarta on 28 – 30 July 2023, members of Serikat Petani Kelapa Sawit (SPKS) joined and showed up their products.
In the event, there were many booths for the selected micro, small, medium businesses (MSMB) in Indonesia to show up palm oil derivative products, series of talk-show, palm oil products, shopping vouchers, and music show that many people in Yogyakarta attended.
It was one way to support, reinforce, and empower palm oil MSMB that the stakeholders own to go international.

SPKS also showed up its members’ products, such as, from Koperasi KSP Karya Mandiri, District of Tanjabarat, Jambi Province. It showed dodol, stick and chips from palm oil. Other member of SPKS – Koperasi Pemasaran Ikatan Petani Sawit Swadaya (KOIPESS), District of Pasangkayu, West Sulawesi Province showed soaps from palm oil.
Head of Organization Department SPKS, Sabarudin told that as an organization, SPKS keeps encouraging its members to develop income out of fresh fruit bunch (FFB) trade by developing palm oil derivative products.
“TO develop MSMB, SPKS always facilitates the supports of training to groups and female groups as the members of SPKS,” he said, as in the official statement to Palmoilmagazine.com, Monday (7/8/2023).
He also hoped that PFMA would always collaborate and cooperate to reinforce MSMB product where SPKS operates by delivering trainings and promotion for smallholders in Indonesia. (T2)
