PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – Indonesia’s Attorney General’s Office has initiated a re-examination of certain witnesses involved in a corruption case related to the export facilitation of crude palm oil (CPO) and its derivatives, which occurred between January 2022 and April 2022.
The investigation is being conducted by a team of investigators within the Directorate of Investigation under the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes.
Ketut Sumedana, the Head of Public Relations for the Attorney General’s Office, stated that six witnesses were questioned in this case, with the proceedings taking place on Thursday, September 14, 2023.

The investigation team explained that the witnesses were: FS, AH, N, LAN, FOH, and SR. FS is a Retail Funding and Services Division Head PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk., AH is the Director of PT Wira Inno Mas, N is Bulk Palm Cooking Oil Manager in PT Megasurya Mas, LAN is Import Export Manager in PT Megasurya Mas, FOH is a non-government officer in Ministry of Trade, and SR is the Head of Public and Service Procurement Bureau in General Secretariat of Ministry of Trade in 2019-2022.
The investigation team also mentioned, the examination was about to reinforce every available evidence and to complete the case.
