PALMOILMAGAZINE, BOGOR – Brigadier General Ratno Kuncoro, Director of Economic Intelligence Agency of POLRI, supports efforts to resolve issues in the palm oil plantation industry, especially for independent palm oil farmers who are still facing many problems. This aligns with President Prabowo’s directive to promote food, energy, and economic independence for the people of Indonesia.
“The issues of legality and claims of individual rights to palm oil plantation land are a concern for Baintelkam to resolve legal issues,” Brigadier General Ratno Kuncoro explained to PalmOilMagazine.com at the end of January 2025.
The ongoing legal issues in palm oil plantations are a concern for Baintelkam to strengthen the economic independence of the community. This is in line with President Prabowo’s directive to enhance national food and energy security, with a commitment to no longer export raw food materials.
“In response to President Prabowo’s directive, we at Baintelkam POLRI invite the wider community, including independent palm oil farmers, to discuss with us,” said the Director of Economic Intelligence Agency of POLRI.
In accordance with the duties assigned to Baintelkam POLRI, Brigadier General Ratno Kuncoro explained that the police’s intelligence presence is proactive, addressing issues before they arise, during problems, and assisting in their resolution. He noted that the availability of fertilizers and superior palm seeds, as well as the legality of farmers’ plantation land, can be mediated and resolved through POLRI.
“We work according to the rules, not making assumptions based on personal opinions but collaborating to support the Food and Energy Security Program from President Prabowo,” he emphasized.

Baintelkam POLRI’s support for sustainable palm oil farmers aligns with the government’s goals of economic, food, and energy security, which are shared objectives. Therefore, collaboration between independent palm oil farmers and Baintelkam POLRI is expected to provide joint solutions to various issues occurring in the field.
