PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The Smallholders Replanting Program (SRP) stands as a significant commitment within Asian Agri’s overarching plan for 2030, specifically under its first pillar, Partnership with Smallholders.
Rudy Rismanto, the Head of Partnerships at Asian Agri, stated that the company aims to achieve 100% SRP implementation for plasma smallholders as part of the Asian Agri 2030 program. The ultimate goal is to double the income of these smallholders through the program.
“That is why we always develop our plasma smallholders to implement the best plantation practices and always takes them to optimize their plantation productivity, develop them to get alternative income,” Rudy said.
Since 2016, Asian Agri has delivered helps to (plasma) smallholders in Indonesia through their unions as the contribution in SRP.
Asian Agri also helps them to get banks to deliver loans, funds SRP, and it becomes the avalis so that the banks would give the loans.
Chairman of KUD Budi Sari, Nopriwan is very happy for the fund distribution in SRP. “We all thank for what Asian Agri has done by developing us. The procedures to get fund Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency successful and we are going to get the fund to conduct SRP. (T2)
