PALMOILMAGAZINE, PASER – PT Daya Guna Lestari (DGL), along with the General Directorate of Plantation under the Ministry of Agriculture and the Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (PFMA), held palm oil plantation human resource training sessions in 2024.
The event saw the participation of various stakeholders, including the chairman of the Sekretariat Tim Pengembangan SDMPKS from the General Directorate of Plantation, and Djoko Bawono, the Head of the Livestock and Plantation Agency in the Regency of Paser.
The training, organized by PT DGL, focused on fostering collaboration among planters, particularly targeting smallholders in the region. The training sessions were scheduled from April 23 to 26, 2024, for the first and second sessions, with the continuation from May 1 to 4 for the third and fourth sessions.
During his address, Director of PT DGL, Gema Aliza, expressed appreciation for the support received from PFMA and the General Directorate of Plantation for organizing the event. Gema reiterated PT DGL’s commitment to continue providing support to ensure the delivery of high-quality training to various groups and unions.
“The main goal of the training would be about to develop togetherness and escalate smallholders’ plantation productivity to implement the best programs to get increasing production,” Gema said, as in the official statement to Palmoilmagazine.com, Wednesday (24/4/2024).
Chairman of Sekretariat Tim Pengembangan SDM PKS General Directorate of Plantation Ministry of Agriculture, Eva Lizarmi said that the training would be very significant to realize sustainable palm oil plantations for smallholders. She also emphasized that the smallholders should play significant roles get insight that many speakers would tell to implement the best program well.
The training was officially inaugurated by Djoko Bawono and said that Regency of Paser would be one region with many smallholders. They would be ready to keep contributing in development program of SDM PKS.
Djoko also told that the regency would be ready to execute every technical recommendation in June 2024 with the lead from General Directorate of Plantation.
The training was supported by PFMA as one non-echelon organization managed by Ministry of Finance. PFMA would be in charge to manage palm oil plantation fund based on the Regulation of President of Indonesia Number 61 / 2015 about Palm Oil Plantation Fund Allocation and Raising. (T2)
