CPO Auction at KPBN Records Rp 40/Kg Increase on August 14, 2023

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) price at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) saw an increase to Rp 10,750/kg on Monday (14/8/2023). This marked a gain of Rp 40/kg compared to the previous tender on Friday (11/8/2023) when it was Rp 10,710/kg.

According to information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the CPO price was Rp 10,750/kg in Belawan and Dumai. In Talang Duku, it stood at Rp 10,600/kg, but for withdrawals (WD), the highest bid was Rp 10,463/kg. In Palembang, the price was Rp 10,575/kg, while the highest WD bid was Rp 10,525/kg.

This was contrary to CPO trade at Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange. As quoted from Reuters, CPO price reference with the code FCPOc3 for October 2023 delivery at Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange got cheaper RM 6 or about 0,16% to be RM 3.711 (US$ 804,81) per metric ton in the session.
