The CPO prices at the Malaysia Derivative Exchange witnessed a decline, reaching the lowest point in the past two weeks on Monday (27/11/2023). This decrease is attributed to the lower prices of crude oil and other vegetable oils traded on the Dalian Exchange, despite the offsetting factor of increased exports preventing a more significant drop.

According to Reuters, the CPO contract price with the code FCPOc3, set for February 2024 delivery at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange, decreased by RM 26 per ton or approximately 0.67%, amounting to RM 3,864 (US$ 825.99) per metric ton in the early session. This marks the lowest price since November 17, 2023.
