PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – Crude palm oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was priced at IDR . 12,868/kg on Thursday (22/8/2024), reflecting an increased of IDR 123/kg or approximately 0.97% from the previous day’s tender price of IDR 12,745/kg.
According to information Palmoilmagazine.com received from KPBN Inacom, CPO prices in Belawan and Dumai closed at IDR 12,868/kg.
As reported by Reuters, the CPO contract price at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange improved for the second consecutive session on Thursday (22/8/2024), driven by stronger CPO prices at the Dalian exchange and a weakening Malaysian ringgit. The reference contract price for November 2024 delivery increased by RM 12 per ton, or about 0.32%, closing at RM 3,766 (US$ 860.41) per metric ton.
